1. S Beam
S-shaped beam is also known as American standard beam. This beam has 2 parallel flanges with the rolled section. They are generally connected to each other by a web. The web of this beam can resist the shear force and the flanges can resist the bending movement. I beam is generally used as the main framework and support trusses.
